Welcome Back!
Sloe Gin Circus was developed by my friend Scott and first went live in 1999. The site represented an immense amount of work, transcribing thousands of lines of dialogue and linking hundreds of screen caps and audio clips. Scott chose to close the site after a few years and sadly, he is no longer with us. It seemed for a while that The Circus might truly be lost for all time.
But it was not meant to be! Turns out, Scott was working on an expanded version of the site. Transcripts of every host segment! Hundreds of riffs from every episode, many categorized and cross-referenced! More media: sound clips, movie posters, taglines and reviews! I had the good fortune to be able to bring it all online here, with some help from his family.

And so, I welcome you to this - the latest iteration of the legendary SGC! Looks can be deceiving.
The Circus is one of the most detailed, amazing online fan references ever created.
I am extremely happy that my friend's work here lives on, and I am sure you will be too!
Click around, and get lost in a swirl of fascinating information (if it's
green,
it's generally clickable). As one link leads to the next the depth of the data starts to come into focus - and will blow you away.
Use the search function to search the entire database. Can't remember the episode? Don't understand a reference? Search reveals all! (well... some, anyway)
Future Updates The site is limited to Seasons 1-10, as Scott's work on it ended sometime around 2010. Updating the database to include the Jonah Era is, unfortunately, not in the cards. The intention here was to update the legacy code, finish the unfinished bits and spruce up the presentation slightly. The site will remain a bit of a time capsule and of course, a testament to one guy's vision for the best MST3k site ever made. |
